What People's Say About Place

Was in the area for a BBQ festival which was overly packed so we decided to look up some local BBQ and ended up here, and we were pleasantly surprised. Bar type atmosphere with a soul food/BBQ menu. We all wanted brisket but they had ran out already, kind of a bummer. Two of us ordered rib tips and smoked wings with Mac n cheese. One other ordered a smoked turkey leg and side salad which she said was very fresh and the vinaigrette was good. None of us were disappointed, tips and wings were very good. Turkey leg was good a little dry but taste was still there. Mac n cheese was good too, was definitely warmed up and served but still pretty tasty. Service was great. Our server Jay was very pleasant. Very attentive to our table as well. She was also the bartender and made some fantastic drinks. While we were there we were able to talk with a few of the owners, very nice guys, invited us to come back anytime. The overall vibe was great. I would go back just for that...but the food was good too!! Check em out..

Melt in Yo Mouth Beef Brisket , love the mixed fatty smoked Brisket. Fat is Flavor folks, some Love it and some don't. Most tender Brisket around town, a must try for you Smoked Meat Lover's. Had with Fries and Marvelous Mac n Cheese, highly recommend. The star of this visit Smoked Whole Wings Omg, best ever around Metro Detroit. The Wing's looked burnt, no they not. Great Smoke flavor overload in each bite, got 12 Whole Wings outstanding Delicious . I was able to slide the meat right off the flat, how cool a instant addiction. I googled great bbq near me and brothers came up. Met with the owner, chatted with a great server and ended up with some kick ass food. Super tender and juicy brisket wicked chewy but fall off the bone ribs, mac and cheese and more. The bbq sauce is so good and needs to be in bottles for home. Gotta love it. Do not miss this spot.

Good, smoky BBQ joint with a tight limited menu. BUT a "5% Service Fee" is secretly added to your bill (not mentioned on the menu) in addition to a credit card fee. Not cool. Just put the Real Price on the menu...no customer has ever mad or disappointed about that. - Half Chicken - served slathered in sauce. At first I thought "too much sauce", but it was perfect. Lots of smoke flavor and very juicy. Good stuff. Brisket - I hate to say it, but the first plate was tough. The chef came out to ask how everything was and I showed him. He then brought me some seriously tender brisket! Good smoke profile, good looking smoke ring. Mac & Cheese - OMG good. Thick, sticky cheesey, not bland at all. Perfect amount of salt and smoke. I'd get this as a main meal if they sold it in a large size. Baked Beans - deep smoke flavor, not too sweet, just right. You'll like these. Coleslaw - not too sweet, some interesting flavors that totally work. Delicious. Service was fast and courteous. Ask for Matt (he's still here from Jon's Goodtimes) Food was great but I can't recommend with secret 5% Surcharge.

Excellent atmosphere over here at Brothers Smokehouse. Smoked wings are on point! And the brisket sliders are fire! Brisket has an amazing smoke ring. You can tell that they take pride in what they do. Highly reccomend the baked beans or mac and cheese for a side. Give this place a shot for some high quality, authentic BBQ.

The real thing! We had the pulled pork sliders and brisket, Mac & Cheese and beans. The brisket was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, loaded with smoked flavor. The pulled pork was very tasty as well. The Mac and cheese had the crunchiest crust on it and the beans just sweet enough to contrast the meat Highly recommended!

Stopped in today with several coworkers and took advantage of the $10 lunch special. Brisket sandwich and fries. Fries were pretty good but the brisket sandwich is what will bring me back. Very moist, well prepared and flavorful. The price is right as well. Wish I could have had a cocktail but there’s always next time. See ya soon.

Update: I've been back more than a few times. Not sure what's happened to this place. Mac and cheese changed. Essentially a slight upgrade to Kraft. Baked beans were a huge disappointment. Almost like they were poured out of a can. Got chicken wings, but smoked were out, so got fried. Small, expensive, and at best, average. Ribs were okay. We all left disappointed this last time. Probably will not return. Sorry guys, I was really hoping this was a new go-to This was the old Jon's Goodtime bar. Decided go in and try it, along with a buddy. Glad I did! Ribs are fantastic! Smoky, but not overpowering. Excellent rub seasoning. Baked beans are off the hook. Whatever twist of spices he uses just wake them up. I am NOT a Mac & cheese guy at all, but tried them. I'm hooked! Tried the wings. Smoked, not fried, and delicious. Love love love the seasoning! My friend got the brisket dinner. Excellent smoke ring, and flavor. We finally have a real BBQ . place in town! Also got a carryout dinner, to give as a birthday gift! Update: Went back with my son. Felt like I was going home. I got the ribs again. CONSISTENT! Sooo good! My son got the smoked turkey leg. It was huge and delicious. I dared not get my hands near him.
